What is Best Practice?

"Best Practice is doing whatever will provide the best overall outcome for your particular enterprise, given your unique combination of Values, Purpose, Vision, Resources and Environment"

• Much research and discussion has revealed that there are some fundamental Principles which guide the development of highly effective organisations.  Working within all of these Principles does not guarantee Best Practice, but makes it possible.  Disregarding even some of the Principles always limits the effectiveness of an organisation.

• The Australian Business Excellence Framework provides a mechanism for evaluating how effectively an organisation is working within the Principles of Best Practice

• Continuously evolving understanding of what the factors are that make some organisations for more sustainably successful than others.
